1.1.2Forms

nom./acc. pl. n. i-ta-a-ra-ia KBo 32.126a rev. 6 (CTH 772, MS)
    KBo 32.126a rev. 7 (CTH 772, MS)
unknown i-ta-ra-[ KBo 32.126a obv. 3’ (CTH 772, MS)

The analysis as 3sg. pres. act. in -ya suggested in CLL:96 can be excluded, since this ending makes its appearance only in the 8th c. BCE (see Sasseville 2021a:341).

1.1.4Meaning

The fragmentary state of the tablet forbids any speculation about the meaning of the lexeme. The stem formation is likewise uninformative. Cf. CLL:96 and HHw:s.v. without translation.

1.1.5Stem

The form ending -aya points to the neuter nom./acc. pl. of an adjective in -i(ya)- derived from a non-mutating a-stem, i.e. -ai(ya)-. Unfortunately, this hypothesis cannot be supported by semantic considerations and must, therefore, remain provisional.
