1.1.4Meaning
No meaning has been offered so far in the literature; cf. DLL:24, Melchert (CLL:44). The word appears to be modified by kīšammiš ‘combed’ (Rieken & Sasseville 2019a:526). From a morphological perspective, it is a derivative in -ann(i)- built on the verbal stem ā(ya)-(di) ‘to do, make’, i.e. ‘the one acting’. However, these semantics cannot be contextually proven yet, and further evidence is needed.
