1.1.4Meaning
Gusmani & Akkan 2004a leave the word uncommented. However, its strange morphology makes it very likely that we are dealing with a compound, i.e. šod- + qλτa-. The recognizable suffix -τa- points towards an agent noun formation, from which a denominative verb in -τa-(d) would have been derived (Sasseville 2021a:110-112). Therefore, the verb would mean ‘to act as a šodqλτa-’, which is supported by the fact that the subjects are two individuals.
