1.1.1Transmission

Both forms occur in ritual fragments, one of them a MS copy from the Kuwattalla tradition, and another one from the Tauriša tradition (NS).

nom./acc. sg. ˹a˺-ar-ra-aš KUB 35.15 ii! 3’ (CTH 761, MS)
nom./acc. pl. a-ar!-ra-ša KBo 29.54, 4’ (CTH 765, NS)

Only when assuming a stem in -- can the two forms be assigned to the same stem (following Starke 1990a:106, CLL:25). Though economical, it must be kept in mind that a common paradigm does not find support in a semantic interpretation of the two items.
