The attestation (checked against the photograph of the Konkordanz) follows CLL:270 (cf. also Laroche 1959a:111; HEG U-Z:529), who, however, booked this verb under wiši- / wišaī-. See there for arguments to separate both verbs. CLL:270 identifies it as a medio-passive form, but this is incompatible with the passage showing a transitive verb with its object, see the discussion s.v. wiši- / wišaī-.

1.1.3Meaning ‘to pursue vel sim.’
Although it was originally left without translation (Laroche 1959a:111, also in Ünal 2016a:976), Starke 1990a:549f. proposed the meaning ‘to press’, which was generally followed (CLL:270; Tischler 2008a:228 [here with question mark], Tischler 2016a:442, HEG U-Z:529). However, this meaning does not fit the attestation, which requires ‘to pursue’ or similar, see the discussion s.v. wiši- / wišaī-.
